This has been shot from the balcony towards stage right, & as it’s from the master it’s very nice indeed in terms of picture & sound. There are occasional heads/hands in the shotframe & there’s occasional wobble, but for the most part this is very well shot indeed with a judicious use of closeups & mid-shots (as can be seen from the screens below) – & there’s a clip on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAbbWAEGFlw for your perusal…Filmed on the Scandinavian leg of the ‘Bastards’ Tour, this is a very good show from The Four Musketeers with a seriously strong setlist to boot, a more than able performance with the audience reciprocating in kind…& Remember – They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll – Don’t forget ’em…

Both these shows appear to have come from the same VHS tape, & appear to have been transferred digitally together, on one disc – I acquired them via a Jansson trade (Appreciated as always), & present them as received – there is no menu, but the individual songs from each show have been chaptered…

The New York show was Motorhead’s only US show in 1993, & basically seems to have been a request from The Ritz to join them in their closing weekend. The footage comes from ‘Rebels With A Cause!’, hosted on Rebel TV which appears to have been a Public Access channel in New York, & consists of a quick interview & then 30 minutes or so of live footage, primarily shot from the balcony towards stage left but with (as noted) 2 songs shot from the pit. The interview & the first run-through of ‘Stay Clean’ both come with post-production ‘effects’ (nothing too annoying), & I think they’ve come from the actual broadcast, whereas the footage beginning with the soundcheck appears to be raw footage – & if the presenter/interviewer had been less of a berk, they might’ve been able to shoot more of the show – check the end of the footage,  you’ll see Motorhead’s media rep glaring at him & you’ll also realise why…This is low gen quality & well worth it, as the cameraman gets some excellent shots (especially in the pit), & overall the camerawork is really good – there are two clips of this on YouTube (& they seem to have been taken from the master) if you want a quick look, but the screens below are from this version…Performance-wise, the band are more than eager to play, with this being the last show on the ‘March Or Die’ Tour as well as a one-off, & they do the setlist justice with the audience being as playful as ever for New York…

The Montreal show has been taped from the balcony (slightly towards stage left), & was one of two Canadian dates supporting Black Sabbath whilst promoting the ‘Bastards’ album in 1994. This is an incomplete mid-gen copy, & there are lower gen complete versions available – so if some kind soul would care to upload one, it’d be very much appreciated…The footage is fairly well-shot, handheld so there is some wobble & heads/hands occasionally, but overall it’s an ok one – & there are several different versions/gens of this mooching around on YouTube for you to peruse, but again the screens below are from this particular version…In terms of performance, the band play very well indeed, & receive a reciprocal welcome from the audience…& Remember – They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll – Don’t forget ’em…
