This was taped on the co-headliner tour done with Slayer, & although it does suffer from heads/bodies occasionally, is for the most part fairly well shot & watchable with a pretty good audio track. It’s been done from the balcony (?), slightly towards stage right, focusses primarily on Lem & Philthy, & is a very healthy performance with a good setlist – & the audience respond in kind…Now for the caveats – there is a slight sync issue for the first 30 seconds or so (which clears up well), & there’s a cut after ‘Stay Clean’ with ‘Dogs’ cutting in halfway through, which means there’s only an intro to ‘Traitor’, as well as either ‘Metropolis’ or ‘Built For Speed’ missing – they might be missing due to a technical issue with the camera, as the end of ‘Orgasmatron’ cuts to a black screen with audio glitches (from 25′ 24″ to 28′ 06″) until partway into ‘Stone…’, when the taper manages to sort it out & continue properly…Overall, this is not really for innocent bystanders, but it’s not just for completist’s only either…& Remember – They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll –

Don’t forget ’em…

I took the circulated incomplete pro shot video and added the SBD bootleg audio (Deaf forever Silver CD). The sound is better and you can not hear the TV hosts babbling over some songs anymore. Also made simple menu (chapters & links).

This has been filmed from the floor, probably handheld but very steadily done, with a worthwhile audio – potentially done by the same taper who did the previous two shows in Toronto & London, & this one appears to be a 2nd Gen (screens below)…There is no menu, & it consists of one chapter – exactly as received…

Recorded whilst promoting ‘Rock & Roll’ on Alice Cooper’s ‘Live In The Flesh’ Tour, this is a very good performance from The Four Aces, with a healthy setlist that’s welcomed by the partisan audience & very deftly played indeed – a definitely worthwhile addition…& Remember – They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll – Don’t forget ’em…

This has been shot from the balcony almost directly opposite the stage, & filmed very similarly to the show done the previous night in Toronto.

It’s fairly steady, no heads or hands in the shotframe, & the taper appears to have used a monopod (or similar) as the camera does lean left & right occasionally. Overall this has a good clear view of the stage (screens below), with a very good audio to boot – chapters are every 6 minutes, & this appears to be a 1st gen transfer…

Promoting the ‘Rock & Roll’ album whilst touring with Alice Cooper, this is a very energetic performance from The Four Insomniacs that’s warmly received by an appreciative audience…The setlist is exemplary as per with a good mix of old & new, & overall this is a worthwhile addition to the canon…& Remember – They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll – Don’t forget ’em…

Acquired as part of a very welcome trade, this has been filmed from the balcony almost directly opposite the stage & for the most part is fairly steady, with no heads or hands in the shotframe. The taper (who almost certainly shot the following two nights in London & Ottowa as well) has either used a monopod or similar support as the camera does occasionally lean towards the left & right, however overall this one offers a good clear view of the majority of the stage (as can be seen from the screens below) & a very good audio…There is no menu, the chapters are every 5 minutes, & this does appear to be a lowgen (3rd?) transfer…

Taped whilst supporting Alice Cooper on his ‘Live In The Flesh’ tour & promoting their ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’ album, this is an excellent performance by The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse doing justice to a very worthwhile setlist, with the band in a very energetic & playful mood which is welcomed by the audience…& Remember – They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll – Don’t forget ’em…
